Building on the success of previous brain science outreach activities, the 2025 NSTC Brain Science Popularization Training Program continued to promote brain science education through online short lectures, follow-up onsite visits, and interdisciplinary exchanges. The program helped high school and university students understand core concepts in brain science in an accessible way, while introducing interdisciplinary research directions across neuroscience, artificial intelligence, medicine, psychology, and engineering.
The 2025 NSTC Brain Science Popularization Training Program successfully attracted strong participation from high school and university students, with a total of 269 participants enrolled. This reflects a high level of interest and learning demand among young students regarding brain science, artificial intelligence, and interdisciplinary science and technology. Through lectures, interactive discussions, research case sharing, and a program design that extended from online learning to onsite visits, the activity effectively translated complex brain technology research into accessible science communication. It enhanced students’ understanding of brain science research and practical applications, while supporting the goals of science outreach, knowledge dissemination, and talent cultivation.
